You'll handle installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and fixing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial spots. Gotta know your sprinklers inside out and stay laser-focused on safety and top-quality work.

Job Summary:
We're on the hunt for a sharp-eyed Fire Sprinkler Technician to join the pack. You'll handle installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and fixing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial spots. Gotta know your sprinklers inside out and stay laser-focused on safety and top-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems per NFPA standards and local rules.
- Run inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) on fire sprinkler systems, from wet and dry to pre-action and deluge.
- Sniff out and fix sprinkler glitches with repairs or tweaks.
- Nail all the paperwork: service reports, inspection forms, and inventory logs.
- Team up with fellow techs, contractors, and building folks to keep systems spot-on.
- Stick to every safety code and reg out there.
- Dash to emergency calls with quick, solid fixes.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in fire protection, plumbing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work at heights, and handle physical tasks.
- NICET Level I certification required; NICET Level II strongly sought after.
- NICET II certification in Fire Protection (Water-Based Systems).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Familiarity with various types of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- $22 - $40 an hour DOE
