Scheduling/Customer Service

Portland, OR

BigFoot Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Scheduling for one of our valued clients in the life safety industry. This role supports scheduling operations by serving as the first point of contact for customer communication and by proactively building the service pipeline.


The CSR manages both inbound and outbound communication to identify customer needs, confirm service requirements, and prepare work orders for assignment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a smooth, professional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact customers to schedule inspections, renewals, and follow-up services.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate work orders prior to dispatch.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication via phone, email, and chat to confirm or schedule appointments.
  • Maintain all scheduling and customer data in platforms such as Asana, Salesforce, Building Reports, and Inspect Point.
  • Collaborate with schedulers and dispatchers to ensure efficient handoffs and workload balance.
  • Monitor the scheduling queue to identify gaps or opportunities for technician utilization.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts or customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate service offerings, pricing, and policies clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude that reflects a strong customer-first mindset.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience in a service, construction, or dispatch-driven environment a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/scheduling tools such as Asana, Salesforce, Building Reports, and Inspect Point.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with initiative and accountability.


Physical Requirements

  • Primarily a desk-based role involving long periods of computer and phone work.
  • Frequent speaking, listening, and data entry using a keyboard and headset.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or lifting up to 20 lbs.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $23- $26 an hour DOE
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and a fantastic PTO package
