What You’ll Do

• Lead and grow the automation team, building skills and advancing capabilities.
• Guide technical direction for automation projects from concept through commissioning.
• Drive standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement in control systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align automation efforts with company goals.
• Oversee workflow, training, hiring, and resource planning to keep projects on track.
• Promote innovation and accountability while staying connected to hands-on technical work.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in industrial automation/controls, with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Strong background with PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred), HMIs, and control systems integration.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP).
• Proven ability to manage projects, mentor others, and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

• Familiarity with simulation and testing best practices.
