Journeyman Electrician – Multifamily Construction

BigFoot Staffing is partnering with an established electrical and mechanical contractor to bring Oregon-licensed Journeyman Electricians onto multifamily new-construction projects throughout the Willamette Valley. This is a great opportunity for experienced electricians looking for steady work, competitive pay, strong benefits, and room to grow their skills with a growing contractor.

Compensation: $45–$48 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Install underground and in-ground conduit systems
• Install lighting and lighting-control systems
• Install wiring systems, including NMB, MC, single-conductor cable, EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit
• Install low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
• Install and repair electrical connections to HVAC components
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and project specifications
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades

What We’re Looking For

• Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician license
• Experience with commercial or multifamily new construction preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings and electrical plans
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable codes
• Ability to work safely and productively in an active construction environment
• Basic English proficiency sufficient to understand safety requirements, follow instructions, and communicate with coworkers, vendors, and contractors
