Equipment Operator – Tualatin, OR

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Location: Tualatin, OR
Starting Pay: $19.00/hr

What You'll Be Doing

As an Equipment Operator, you'll be working alongside the Metal Buyer to help out clients as they roll up with truckloads of recyclables. You'll be the backbone of our operations, keeping things running smoothly and safely.

What We're Looking For

• Safe and experienced equipment operation (forklift, front end loader, yard-goat, & baler)
• Participate in inspection of equipment
• Assist in inspections of site conditions
• Assist customers in the public depot and buyback area as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
• Understands the importance of safety
• Assists team in creating highest quality baled products

Skills and Abilities

• 1+ years experience operating heavy equipment
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be self-motivated and able to work alone at times
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Work cooperatively with a diverse workforce
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math aptitude
• Responsible and reliable
• Willing to participate in continuing education and job enhancement courses

Nice to Have

• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of various metals types
